John HanCROCK?

Let's say you go down to the local courthouse to legally change your name. Do you sign your old name on the forms or your new name? If you sign your old name, then once the form is processed it is no longer valid because the person who signed it no longer exists. If you sign your new name, then that name isn't legal yet so the form can never be processed. Maybe you could just write "SEE ID"...
